The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it's alarmed concerning the high variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher variety here of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area regularly. The service level developed for intervention experiences a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
